We had a nice visit with Stuart who was visiting from Ottawa. Southeast False Creek, once an industrial heartland of Vancouver though to the 1950s, home to many sawmills and small port operations, has now been transformed into a leading model of sustainable development and designed as a mixed-use community with a population of 10,000+.
