Huub in Portland

Here's Huub in front of the fire at the Allison Inn and Spa in the Willamette Valley (think Pinot Noir) just outside of Portland. The Allison is a 3 year old, 35-acre property and was just named by Travel + Leisure to be the #1 Hotel Spa in North America in 2012.

Huub in Times Square

Huub in the Big Apple. This year we stayed at the Gansevoort Hotel on Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, a new 20- story poperty within walking distance to Stumptown at the Ace Hotel and Eataly at Madison Square Park. Gansevoort is named after Peter Gansevoort, a prominent Colonel in during the American Revolutionary War whose family came from Dutch aristocracy.
